Marisa
Marisa serves as a Dental Assistant at the Center for Dental Excellence and has been part of the practice for over two years. She earned her education from YTI Career Institute in York and brings a compassionate, hands-on approach to patient care each day.
In her role, Marisa helps set up and clean treatment rooms, assists the doctor during procedures, and supports patients throughout their visits to help ensure they leave with beautiful, confident smiles. She also follows up with infant patients about a month after lip and tongue tie procedures to check on their progress and provide continued support. When needed, Marisa also helps answer phone calls and assist the front office team.

Spare Time Interests:
Outside of the office, Marisa enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. She likes weight lifting, walking in nature, kayaking, and fishing.

Favorite Food: Mexican food
Favorite Music: Three Days Grace, along with rock and country music
Favorite Movies: Finding Nemo and Toy Story, which have been favorites of hers since childhood
Fun Fact:
Marisa played piano for a short time in high school and still remembers how to play the first few notes of “Jingle Bells” from muscle memory.
