Emily, D.A.
Emily serves as a Dental Assistant at the Center for Dental Excellence and joined the practice in November 2024. She graduated from YTI in 2025 and brings a warm, compassionate approach to every patient she helps care for.
In her role, Emily primarily assists Dr. Katherman with lip and tongue tie procedures, while also supporting general dentistry procedures. She enjoys being part of each patient’s care experience and helping the office provide comfortable, attentive treatment.
Career Highlights:
One of Emily’s favorite parts of her role is working alongside Dr. Katherman and helping moms and babies throughout their feeding journeys. She finds it especially rewarding to see the progress babies make from their initial appointment to their one-month follow-up visit.

Outside of the office, Emily loves spending time with family and friends and going shopping.
