Jacob came to us on the recommendation of a friend. Jacob had a concern that his existing bonding was no longer cosmetically acceptable. Jacob had developmentally small lateral incisors that had been bonded approximately seven years prior. Additionally, there was a chip of the central incisor that was bonded. Our evaluation revealed chipping and discoloration of the existing bonding as well as shape and size issues. Our recommendation was for the placement of four porcelain veneers on the upper central and lateral incisors. We also suggested that Jacob might want to whiten his other teeth prior to us placing the final dentistry. We whitened Jacobs’s smile with Zoom in-office bleaching prior to the restorative appointment. We subsequently removed the existing bonding and prepared the teeth for four Avante stacked porcelain veneers. Jacob and his family were so happy with the result that they have all become patients in our practice!
