Sleep Apnea
Obstructive sleep apnea occurs when the airway completely collapses and blocks airflow into the lungs. Without enough oxygen, the brain has to wake up the patient enough to start breathing again. The patient may or may not be aware that they have stopped breathing. People with mild sleep apnea may stop breathing only a few times an hour. People with severe sleep apnea can stop breathing as many as 80 times an hour. The TAP® holds the lower jaw in a forward position so that it does not shift nor fall open during the night. Most patients experience relief the very first night they wear their TAP!® Although it may take up to a week to get used to wearing a TAP® appliance, this is a small hurdle for patients

Periodontal Care
Periodontal disease, more commonly known as gum disease, can have far-reaching effects not only for your smile, but for your general health as well. Studies have indicated a strong correlation between gum disease and serious health issues, including heart disease and stroke. We are able to treat any existing issues using both surgical and non-surgical methods, and help you maintain a healthy smile through professional cleanings and exams.
When bacteria enters the inner chamber of a tooth, serious infection can develop and threaten its entire structure. A tooth can become infected through trauma or injury, including a fracture, untreated decay, or previous dental work that has failed. During root canal therapy, our dental team will thoroughly clean the inside of the tooth and provide dental restoration in the form of a dental crown. Root canal therapy not only saves the afflicted tooth, but also preserves the health of the jawbone and surrounding teeth.
Family Dentistry
Our practice is proud to offer dental care for your entire family. Our gentle, caring team can introduce your children to visits to the dentist, ensuring their comfort every step of the way. We can teach children the importantance of brushing and flossing, provide ongoing care like tooth-colored fillings for our adult patients, and ensure that our elderly patients continue to have healthy gums and comfortable, functional bites.
Our practice offers traditional orthodontic care for a straighter smile. Patients who are looking for braces or other restorative orthodontic treatments can schedule an examination with our tooth experts to see if they are the right candidate.
Preventative Dentistry
Preventative dentistry involves comprehensive, ongoing treatments and procedures to help patients maintain oral hygiene. A combination of in-office visits that focus on cleanings, screenings, and exams, along with a number of at-home treatments can help maintain healthy gums and teeth. Early prevention and detection is essential in preventing tooth decay, dental disease, and other more complicated conditions.
